Car insurance...?

I want to get a policy in my parents name with me as named driver this is chepaer but does this mean my dad cant have another policy in his name on another car?
Car insurance...?
No, he can have as many policies as he likes
Car insurance...?
as above...i did that when i couldnt afford a policy of my own...
Reply:if its your car and not your parents that is illegal and insurance companies are cracking down on it.

in other words if you really are the main driver and your dad is an occasional driver you cant do it.

however if your dad does genuinly have two cars then he can insure them both in his name or you may get a better deal with a family insurance.
Reply:HELLO

STILL ILLEGAL AS YOU THE HIGHER RISK DRIVER DOING MOST OF THE DRIVING

LAW STATES THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE 2 INSURANCES ON ONE CAR

HOW EVER THESE DAYS WITH THE RIGHT INSURANCE COMPANY IF YOU SET THAT UP YOU CAN EVAN START ACCRUING NO CLAIMS IN YOUR OWN RIGHT

Reply:For automobile insurance the obvious way to get a good quote is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make certain that you compare similar policies with the same limits, auto type, location, etc so that all things are a good comparison.

What I always recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have big name insurers and will give multiple prices on car insurance polices.
